Located near the mid-point of Lake McConaughy, Lakeview is the most developed area along the south side.  It is located approximately 7 miles west of the "Y" junction north of Ogallala on Hwy 26 and 3.75 miles north on an access road.

A private business provides numerous services and excellent facilities for visitors to the area.  There are also many seasonal and year-round residences located at Lakeview.

The Game & Parks maintains a primitive campground and picnic facilities.
